Too often we get caught up in the thoughts and emotions that come from the past or from the future and it can be difficult to focus on giving the present moment all you got. What if the best thing you could do for your future was focus on the present moment? It may seem counter intuitive, however when you give the present moment all you have to give, you basically set yourself up for success in the next moment… and the next… and the next. The power is in this very moment here and now. I’m a huge advocate of preparation and planning for the future, however once you’re ready to move toward that goal, work your plan by giving the present task your best and continually put your best foot forward.
