When it comes to building enjoyable relationships, trust is at the core. If you don’t trust someone, the relationship will be far from enjoyable! Remember, we befriend and do business with those we know, like and trust. With that said, how can you build upon your relationships and develop even stronger trust? A basic need that everyone has is to be heard and understood. People feel a great deal of connection and significance when they feel heard and understood. Make it a goal of yours today to actively listen, ask open ended questions, and validate what your friends, loved ones, and colleagues have to say…and watch how much more enjoyable those relationships become!
