When you meet someone at a networking event or even just out and about, are you genuinely curious to get to know them? Do you care to build a genuine relationship? Most people think that sounds great and would be wonderful, however they don’t operate that way when they are out. Why not? It can be easy to get caught up in our businesses and put the focus on ourselves and just making the next sale. We therefore miss out on being our authentic selves and building a genuine relationship. Go into today as a better active listener. Be more genuinely interestED than interestING! Listen for what their values are, what is important to them, and what their greatest goals are. Happy Building Genuine Relationships!
